buDa- Folklore Research Center is an  interactive center that houses a small folklore museum and library, study rooms , a community center(gudimane) and research facility.

The special ambience of the house offers our guests a unique opportunity to become close to the rich and unique culture of the region, make outbound day trips and longer tours into neighboring regions, get deeper insights by interacting with the hosts and exchange experiences with other guests.

We continue the tradition of hospitality in the region by offering wholesome and healthy local cuisine using organic produce and access to local guides.

  Read a good book from our extensive library, visit the museum and interact with visiting artisans at community center.

There will be  a field visit to tribal settlements to get deeper insight and to understand ,interact with the artisans .

Guests are free to roam the extensive medicinal plants garden, or  a forest walk and enjoy sunset and sunrise at Sharavathi Valley.

 In the learning center you are participating and interacting with visiting artisans to get  hands on experience of their art craft and dance.
